Sorrento, Italia
Sorrento, situated at the northern end of the Amalfi Coast, is one of my favorite places to visit when we head to the south over the summer. Stunning, isn’t it?

There’s just something about the original, vintage style decor of the modern, fashion capital city of Milan that screams photo op. I love seeing the exquisite architecture of the Duomo, the gorgeous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, cobblestone streets, old school Fiats, brick buildings reflecting so much character, and ancient columns, archways and pillars that are still standing from over the centuries. Not to mention the ever so popular Navigli area complete with cafes, boutiques, second hand shops, restaurants, bars and canals featuring boats, walkways and benches along the water. Milan is just so #hipster #glam
I love Milan in the spring. Having just crossed the year and a half mark of living here, I’ve experienced all four seasons (a couple of them twice now) and spring is absolutely my favorite.
“Remember it’s always better to look up” 🙂
Simply gorgeous. No matter how many times I walk by the Duomo in Milan, I can’t help but admire the cathedral’s intricate details. It took almost six centuries to complete, is the 5th largest in the world (the largest in Italy), and is considered a work of late Gothic style.
Sacred Heart, located in one of my favorite Parisian districts, Montmartre.
Europe is home to many gorgeous artistic designs, down to the door art. Here’s one of the doors I captured while walking through Schaffhausen, Switzerland at a former monastery.
One of our favorite days trips from Milan is to the quaint little city of Cernobbio, located on Lake Como. It’s probably about a mile long (or less), sits right on the lake, and is beautiful year-round, especially in the summer months when you can walk through the little city, sit outside in a restaurant with a refreshing glass of Prosecco and delicious cheese platter, or sip on a cappuccino in a cute cafe. I took the featured photo after a hike up the mountain that brought us to this gorgeous panoramic view of Lake Como.
